Devices and formats.
What you clock in with and where the data goes. What is not finished yet is listed here too.
No extra device
Clock in with one tap, even without a network. With NFC on the phone also via a card or a sticker at the entrance, on Android; on the iPhone, reading is still being checked on the device.
On the workstation computer, without installing anything.
A tablet at the entrance, each person clocks in with their PIN. After several failed attempts it locks briefly.
Readers and terminals
Most inexpensive card readers. The reader’s format is set once.
For terminals that send entries as JSON. The fields are mapped once.
Implemented, but not yet checked on a real device.
According to the manufacturer the documentation is public. We have not evaluated it yet, and the adapter is not built.
We have not found a freely accessible manufacturer document for the protocol. We do not guess protocols.
An inexpensive do-it-yourself terminal. The data sheet is public.
Cards
Inexpensive and available everywhere. On the iPhone, reading is still being checked on the device. kloq never stores the card number in plain text, only as a check value. A simple sticker does not prove presence, it is a hint.
For businesses with existing access cards. The full specification is only available through the manufacturer.
Handover to the payroll office
Monthly list and movement data per person, to import into any payroll software.
The import format is not publicly described. We are clarifying it with the manufacturer.
The file-based ASCII import can be used free of charge according to DATEV. We will check the record description in the original before building it.
The interfaces are public; the right record for payroll data is still being checked.
Send us the manufacturer and model. With documentation from the manufacturer we will build the adapter.
The next month-end can be simple.
Free during the beta. We set up kloq with you and listen to what is missing.
