What does self-hosting cost?
The application is free under the AGPL-3.0. You only pay for your server and your backup target.
Does the phone app work with my server?
Yes. It is the same free app from the store. It finds your server through the company email once the domain is confirmed, or gets it through MDM.
Who can register on my server?
Nobody without a setup code. The wizard shows it exactly once. After the first admin, registration is closed and everyone else joins by invitation.
Which clock-in devices work?
The same as in the cloud. The list is under Devices.
