For employees

the chip they already have stays. Which doors and when is meant to follow from the role. The phone as a key comes later, only in the app from the store.

For the office

you set up areas, time windows and profiles once and assign them to roles. For sensitive areas a second person is meant to approve.

For security

leaving the company is meant to lock the doors at once, even without kloq. people. kloq will not analyse who opened which door when.

How it is meant to go from room to chip.

  1. Areas and rooms.

    You assign the doors of your locking system to rooms and group rooms into areas, for example bakery or server room.

  2. Time windows.

    When access applies: weekdays 6 am to 6 pm, around the clock, or only on certain days.

  3. Access profile.

    A profile links areas with time windows and belongs to a role. Whoever gets the role gets the profile.

  4. Present the chip.

    At the programming reader you see the person, profiles, rooms and validity. Your locking system writes the new rights to the chip or sends them online.

Is kloq a locking system?

No. kloq is meant to be the management layer. Locks, door control, emergency exits and chip encryption stay with the manufacturer. kloq is meant to write rights only through its interface, with a preview before every change.

Which locking systems work?

Salto KS (cloud) is in progress, a test with real credentials is still pending. Salto Space through the gateway in your network is planned and part of the Enterprise edition. Other manufacturers are possible. The honest status per system is in the device list under access systems.

Does kloq see who was where and when?

Not by itself. The access log is meant to be off by default. Switched on, you only see numbers per door, without names. Names appear only in a documented incident, with a second person and limited to a door and a period. There are not meant to be reports or lists per person. The log is meant to be deleted after 90 days, adjustable from 30 to 180.

Can the phone open the door?

That comes later, and only in the kloq app from the app store, not in the browser. The key runs on the manufacturer’s technology and is withdrawn at once when someone leaves. Until then, the chip applies.

What does kloq. access cost?

Planned: €2.00 per person and month, net. Not bookable yet. Licences for your locking system are not included. Combined with other products, the bundle discount is meant to apply.
